Project Main Details
The video is centered around a family of four - mother, father, brother (about 13 yrs old) and sister (4 years old).
The brother is the narrator. He is especially smart for his age and able to explain complex concepts involving electricity - kind of a technology whiz kid.
The story begins with the family in the kitchen. Brother is playing a video game when his little sister walks in the room for breakfast. That's when he begins his narration. Story continues with a storm that knocks out power to the neighborhood and brother explains how "smart grid" technology keeps the power on at his home and helps the utility restore power quickly for everyone else.
Tone should be conversational and enthusiastic - like he's explaining something really new and exciting to people. 2011-06-30 16:26:26 GMT 2011-07-01 16:00:00 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) Yes (click here to learn more about ) Closed 0 0 0 direct invitation(s) have been sent by the voice seeker resulting in 0 audition(s) and/or proposal(s) so far. *** understands how important electricity is to you. And they’re making sure it’s there when you need it.
At your home, *** is installing a smart meter. You can use it to learn just how much power you’re using every hour of the day.
Giving you the information you need to manage your monthly power bills…and letting *** know everything’s working the way it should.
But that’s just one part of creating a smarter, more reliable electrical system
Your home is part of a wider network. And at thousands of places along this “grid” they’re adding advanced technology to monitor and protect the quality of the power they deliver to you
So if there’s a problem, here’s how it works…
Those smart devices *** is installing on power lines, electrical equipment and substations start talking to each other.
They help *** identify a problem quickly…switch lines automatically…and reroute electricity.
That lets *** isolate the trouble spot and keep the lights on for the rest of the neighborhood.
How cool is that?!?
When that starts to happen, you’ll probably never notice what’s going on outside your home…and that’s the best part…you don’t have to worry.
***’s got you covered.
