Spot 1:

“Worth It”
:60 radio

ANNCR: If you’re a woman considering investing in a college education, right now you’re wondering: is it even worth it?

Actually, this is a two part question:

Let’s start with Part 1. Are you worth it? Well, even in the
tightest of economic times, it’s always smart to invest in yourself.
When you do this, no one can hold you back. And on the other
hand -- if you don’t believe in yourself, why would potential
employers believe in you, either?

As for Part 2 – is the tuition worth the investment? Well, that’s
up to each school to prove it. For the past two years, U.S. News &
World Report named Alverno College #1 in the Midwest for
educating undergraduates. Alverno’s smaller class size and
uncommon access to faculty make the learning experience
feel exclusive, and personal. Our approach builds a sense of
confidence in every woman. It comes through in every interview,
every presentation, in fact, every time you express yourself.
Maybe that’s why 84% of Alverno grads were employed in their
field of study six months after graduation.

So if you believe that you’re worth it, we believe we can prove
that we are, too. For more proof, visit

Spot 2:

“MBA – Jobs”
:60 radio

ANNCR: Are you happy with your job? For comparison’s sake, I’m going to name some jobs to compare to your job.

See if any of these jobs are better:

- Senior Vice President of the YMCA
- European Art Curator at the Milwaukee Art Museum
- Senior Strategy Manager at Del Monte Foods
- Senior VP of Sales & Marketing at Patrick Cudahy
- Radiation Biophysicist at Massachusetts General Hospital
- Award-winning author
- Chief of the Madison Fire Department
- Senior VP and General Counsel of Assurant Health

While these jobs may seem like they’re all over the board, they
actually all have one thing in common: all of these jobs are held
by graduates of Alverno College.

And that should tell you something about the value of an Alverno
education, whether you’re a woman considering an
undergraduate degree, or a man or woman considering a
Master’s Degree.

So if you’ve been wondering whether a college degree is worth it, or if it might be worth it to get your MBA, we believe we can prove that it is. At least, it’s worth it at Alverno.
