During world war 2 as battles raged across the globe, the small town of Algona, Iowa became home to one of largest prisoner of war camps ever built in the United States.
From 1944 to 1946, this camp would house over 10,000 German prisoners, who not only worked America's farmlands while our men fought overseas, but also left a lasting gift and legacy that stands to this day.
This is the true story of, ALGONA
