The American Cancer Society Foundation is celebrating its 16th Anniversary with a reflective look at its past and thoughtful look at its future. The narrator copy is slight; most of the video is soundbites from former and present members of the Foundation. The video will be shown next Friday at the Society's Board Meeting. The video may be used subsequently to introduce or market the activities of the Foundation, the arm of the Society which solicits large gifts and funds research and many other cancer control efforts.
I don't think this needs to be solemn. I'm looking for warmth and, above all, for honestly. This isn't a commercial. It's a story. I'm looking for someone who can tell this story, and not simply try to "sell" the story. The script is still in draft form, but I think it's close.
Please send a read of the script or examples of long-form narration. I don't want to hear a spot reel.
