Script Details

Sample script below provide by the voice seeker for auditions.
In 1930, the U.S. was into its 10th sober year of Prohibition. And a stock market crash had brought about the Great Depression. But 1930 also marked the beginning of The Golden Age of Bridge. Americans looking for an escape from their bleak reality discovered that cards were cheap, and most anyone could play.
And Ely (pronounced EEEE-ly) Culbertson was ready to deal. A self-taught, self-promoting player and editor of the new Bridge World magazine, he wanted to turn the game into a lucrative career. His wife, Jo, was herself a skillful playing partner. All Ely needed was a way to sell the world on the new “Culbertson System” of play that he had developed.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
