ABC Anywhere But California ZD154325
A marketing video explaining how Oroville breaks the stereotypes of doing business in California. This is done through voice over and animation. The direction for the actor is: His tone needs to be friendly yet have some attitude. Since we are slamming CA in the beginning, the voice needs to be somewhat confrontational yet likable. The delivery should be kind of like,"Tell us something we don't know, " ....yet the voice transitions into a tad more excited and revealing.

Choosing the best location to grow or expand a business is easy. All you have to remember are three letters: "A B C." Anywhere But California. Why's that? First, there's the cost of land. California real estate is so expensive that a couple of handfuls of dirt equate to the price of a new car. And that's assuming you can find a site that isn't already occupied by some new age commune that worships bark. Then, there are the regulations. California has so many "do's" and "don't do's" that you have to get a permit just to get a permit. And third, there's water. Or the lack of it. California is in a perpetual drought, so if your business requires significant amounts of H2O, and you can't substitute organic beet juice, forget it. That is. Unless, of course, you're familiar with Oroville, California. That's right. Oroville. A California city that not only makes it easy to do business, but has everything you need — from large swaths of affordable land to a plentiful supply of not just water, but some of the purest and cheapest water in the country. In fact, it's the least expensive water you'll find anywhere. We should probably repeat that. Oroville has the cheapest water in the country. How can that be? Well, just like every desert has an oasis, Oroville is California's business oasis. Where you'll find everything from a business friendly environment to a surrounding work force of around 200,000 people that can't wait to help you succeed. So, while other parts of CA are about as welcoming to business as a hurricane, Oroville is the exception. The oasis. That just happens to be in the last place you expected to find it. Go to www dot CA business oasis dot org to find out more.
