Project Main Details

A Tale of Two Students
Client doesn't want their name out there as this is, at this writing, a proprietary project, which is why the project is marked "private". VOICE SPECS: College age male. Conversational, everyman. Not polished. As if another student is talking to a male or female student - he's one of them. But do not go into something too informal or ironic. Friendly, but not too so. You are a professional voice-over without really sounding like one. Got it? Thanks!
A Pittsburgh Area University is embarking on a proprietary, trademarked campaign whereby they will help educate college-bound students who too often race into financial decisions and then four (or more) years later end up with a mountain of crippling debt. While virtually every American college and university raises tuition each year and promises each student something just short of guaranteed success, no one is taking the time to properly educate students of the potential pitfalls of poor financial decisions. This is one element that will help kick off the campaign - something to raise awareness and draw the student into the conversation.

Meet Bobby Mo and his best friend Owen Moore: both excited to attend Frick University. Bobby and Owen had similar academic success in high school and both come from families with similar financial need. So, as they head into their first year of college, they’ll have identical financial aid packages and identical out of pocket expense.
Let’s follow Bobby and Owen through their four years at Frick and see how their decisions and actions impact their student loan debt upon graduation!
Year One: Bobby studies hard and maintains a good GPA.
Owen, not so much. He discovers the joy of napping, and his GPA suffers. Year One Summary: Bobby keeps his academic scholarship, while Owen, because of his poor GPA, loses his. As a result, Owen has to borrow more to cover the loss of his scholarship.
