Project Main Details
Our female main character has a number of introspective narrations throughout the game, and we'd like to have them recorded by an awesome voice actress. We'd like to hear you read a few samples of our dialogue as an audition for the role in our game.
We'd prefer our character to not have a very distinct acccent, perhaps sounding "American/Canadian" in that sense, and with a mid tone of voice.
Some areas of the script are somewhat detached/internal, while others are more dramatic/emotional. Good range, flexibility and exploration will be required. Script Details
Sample1: (first encounter with enemies)
When confronted with a dangerous situation, I was wise to use the full range of my physical abilities to avoid it. With a powerful thrust of my legs, my webbed feet would propel me forward, leaving my pursuers in my wake.
Sample2: (uncovering a strange door)
The ancient gate stood tall, and resolute. It was ornately decorated with swirling patterns, but did not provide a simple mechanism for opening. I would have to search these waters, in hopes of finding the means to solve this ancient riddle.
Sample3: (upon transformation for the first time)
Where blood had flowed through me, now ran a stream of pure power. A new passion enthralled me. My mind reeled at the dark gift I was granted. If I sang the Song of this deceased God, I would become... a being of pure energy. Note: These are work in progress samples for testing, and do not represent the final script.
