Project Main Details
BPI is looking for several male and female character voices for a simulated prehistoric radio show in which prehistoric mammals are the “broadcasters”. The fake radio news reports on traffic and weather information from different time periods like the Miocene Period and the Ice Age. Some of the animal characters might include a tapir, a rhino, a saber-toothed cat, a mastadon, etc. (not dinosaurs). And, these animal characters are “news broadcasters”.
NO DIRECT CALLS OR E-MAILS, PLEASE! ONLY VOICEOVERS AUDITIONS SUBMITTED THROUGH VOICE-123 WILL BE CONSIDERED.

MIOCENE PERIOD WEATHER REPORT:
TOM TAPIR: It’s quite warm these days, and many animals are finding it difficult to cool off.
The pond that used to be here is all but a distant memory. Dense clay sediment has been filling it in for years. Now, it’s barely even a watering hole. That spells tough times in these high temperatures.
For P-I-T-Radio, this is Tom Tapir, live at the old waterhole.

ICE AGE RADIO PHONE CALL CONVERSATION:
SMILODON: You’re on I-C-E-Radio with Smilodon.
PHONE CALLER: [complaining] Yeah, hi. It’s 16,000 B.C., and it’s been cold a LONG time. The rhinos are gone, and there are many new faces, like those hairy mammoths.
SMILODON: The changes didn’t happen overnight.
PHONE CALLER: I know. But, I worry about… extinction.
SMILODON: Gettin’ close to retirement?
PHONE CALLER: Your a little long-in-the-tooth yourself, Smilodon.
SMILODON: Touché!

ICE AGE TRAFFIC REPORT:
We’ve seen many new creatures lately, like the giant short-faced bear, in some rather heavy traffic.
Migrating mammoths move along slowly, causing tie-ups. Small commuters should take care when merging – mammoths may be slow, but they’re HUGE. If caught in a mammoth’s blind-spot, you’ll be road-kill.
Today’s traffic is big and slow, but gets good mileage.
