ANNOUNCER: “And now, Tetco presents: “TAG LINES”
(sound of car pulling up to the pump)
SMITHERS: “I’ll just fill it up, sir.” (car door opens, closes)
BURNS: “Mmm, what’s this? TAG, eh?” (electric window rolls down)
“Am I earning loyalty points on my fuel purchases?”
SMITHERS: “Uh, no sir.”
BURNS: “What!? Then go inside and get tagged so I can start earning points for free items. Oh, and while you’re inside get me something for breakfast, I’m famished.”
SMITHERS: “Yes sir, what would you like?”
BURNS: “I’ll have a single pillow of shredded wheat, some steamed toast, and a DoDo egg.”
SMITHERS: “ Uh, I think the DoDo went extinct…”
BURNS: “Get going! Ah, once I get signed up to the TAG system, Tetco will reward me handsomely with free coffee, soft drinks, carwashes, and more.
(car doors opens, closes)
SMITHERS: “Ok, sir. Here’s your Tetco Tag, your points are already adding up.”
BURNS: “Excellent.”
(Music intro/background and Announcer) -
