Audience
The audience for the XX Hearing Aid Centers is made up of residents in the San Diego area who are experiencing a loss in hearing. The radio spots are also targeted at people who may know someone experiencing hearing loss or in need of a hearing assessment.
Even though the majority of people experiencing hearing loss are baby boomers and older, there is still a large enough segment of Gen X people experiencing hearing issues to warrant appealing to them as well.
Objective
The objective of the :30 and :60 Radio Spots is to create the impression with the audience that if they are experiencing a loss in hearing, it’s a serious problem that should be assessed and not ignored. The spots also stress there is no need to be embarrassed or self conscious, the hearing aid systems of today are far more effective and undetectable than ever before.
