Project Main Details
Your Forefront's purpose is to unite our generation’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning community by conducting educational activities consisting of public discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures or other similar programs. By removing common stereotypes and transforming outcasts into insiders, we eliminate prejudice and discrimination.
We will hear and accept each person through their individual ideas and experiences. By creating a foreground where an outcast LGTBQ individual can come to share and to be heard, we will enhance each individual's self concept, determination, and sense of purpose in our diverse society.
By presenting both sides of current issues with a variety of relevant articles, we will educate each member on influential topics. As we promote education and the reality of current social problems facing our generation's LGTBQ people, we will empower the individual to become an educated critical thinker in society.
With a strong sense of self worth and an awareness on current issues, we will create citizens that not only live in a society, but are also moved to become a part of it. Your Forefront, in a position of prominence and responsibility, will lead our generation's LGTBQ community in promoting equality and accepting of the diversity of all people, thereby ensuring the stability of America's future.
