VACUUM FORMING
Virginia Industrial Plastics specializes in vacuum forming, with machines that handle up to 72" x 144" sheets. VIP has single station, double entry, rotary and in line machines to handle what ever your need. We handle orders for 1 part to large production runs. With our engineers we can develop your parts using 3D solid modeling and actually test parts before they are built. This saves the customer time and money. VIP builds most of our tools in house, this speeds up the process in creating a new part. All of our vacuum formed parts are precision trimmed using only the best 3, 4, 5, & now 6 axis machines.
CNC MACHINING
Over the years Virginia Industrial Plastics has been driven by the commitment to reach new levels of manufacturing plastic parts. With CNC equipment, 3D solid modeling, and 3D CAM processing, the possibilities are endless. VIP uses Solid Works solid modeling to develop customer's parts. Using 3D modeling the customer can see the part before it actually exist. From there, the model can be machined using CNC 3, 4, 5, and 6 axis machines. CNC equipment capabilities at VIP are lathes, routers, mills, lasers, and water jets.
FABRICATION
One strength of Virginia Industrial Plastics is plastic fabrication. VIP started as a plastic fabrication company and has expanded over the years into other areas. We have not forgotten our roots. Our motto is "if you can draw it, we can build it." Using solid Works CAD system in part development, our plastic engineers take pride in helping you solve potential part problems, ensuring the best product available.
