We're looking for a male urban-ethnic voice 30s to 50s but probably leaning towards the older range, with kind of a cool Barry White /Isaac Hayes sound (think Chef on Southpark). This year we expect to do 7-10 comedy spots, so SAG/AFTRA rates would kill us.We don't pay a lot($250.per spot) but we pay very quickly. Also, we're looking for a long term relationship with our talent. He will be one of two voices doing our spots. The other voice we're using has been with us for 8 years in this award winning regional campaign. So if you'd like a reference, we'll put you in touch with him. We expect to start production in March.We'll do the mix in Ft Lauderdale. So if you're in the neighborhood you can come to the studio. If not, an MP3 will do.
Here's one of our scripts from last year. It featured a very laid back voice with a hip jazzy music track.
