Project Main Details
Our company, is looking for a female Voice Talent for our Irish English RealSpeak Text-to-Speech product,
Our company is a leading supplier of Text-To-Speech products.
The task of the selected voice talent will be to provide recordings according to our company’s specifications. The recordings will either take place in Belgium (travel and lodging costs are taken care of by us) or in a location chosen by you, on the condition that the recording facilities meet our company’s requirements.
We foresee that recordings will take around 10 to 13 days, preferably starting around February 20th 2006. These recordings may have to be complemented with some extra sessions later on, if need be.
The recordings will be processed by our development team to become an integral part of our Text-To-Speech system. It is important to mention that it is our company’s intention to acquire complete and exclusive rights on these recordings to develop and commercialise Text-to-Speech technology with the selected voice.
Our selection is guided by technical criteria, voice characteristics, voice talent availability, and price. If you are interested in participating in our selection process, we would like to receive some additional recordings.
It is very important to stress that we are looking for native Irish (English) speakers, the sentences should be read in a natural way (no need to hide/emphasize the Irish accent).
Our preliminary technical tests require the recording of a script (see attachment audition.doc). These recordings should be of high quality and made in a professional recording studio. We require mono raw PCM recordings at 22kHz sampling frequency (or higher), with 16 bit resolution. The test recordings should be made available to us as soon as possible, at the latest by February 9th, 2006. Please let us know in advance if you want to participate in our selection/if this date is not feasable for sending us test recordings.
