Project Main Details
We at ESP Films are producing two feature length ( 52 minutes ) documentaries out of India and are looking for Star Narrators for the same. We would like to get the VO’s done by well known ‘star’ artists as the films are meant for international broadcasters.
We would appreciate if you could send us a sample of your voice and tell us what it would cost us to hire your services.
The brief concepts of the documentaries are as follows:
1.“FLOATING LAMP OF THE SHADOW VALLEY”
The film is about a nine year old boy whose name is Arif. He is the youngest boatman in the famous Dal Lake in Srinagar and is the sole earning member, supporting a family of five. The film about Arif is set in Kashmir, which is probably the most vulnerable nuclear flashpoint in the world.
2. “HIGHWAY IN MY VEINS”
The film is about the Truck Drivers of India and their life on the highways of this vast nation. Everyday, more than a million tons of cargo is transported from one part of India to another. These trucks are the blood that pumps life into the veins of India’s economy.
Along with the wealth of the nation, they carry the dreams, hopes and lives of the men driving these trucks… and they carry HIV. From being labelled Highway killers, Drug abusers, Alcoholics, they now also bear the cross of being not only carriers of cargo, but also carriers of HIV…
While the Stigma attached to HIV AIDS forms the window of perception through which we enter into the lives of truck drivers, we seek to discover what lies beyond.
