Project Main Details
The script in English is around 9,000 words. We expect it to be a little longer once it is translated into French. In our experience, a script of this length can generally be recorded in 2-3 hours. You would need to have access to your own recording equipment, and could post the audio files to our FTP site.
The pay for this project is $500 USD. In addition to doing the voiceover for this script, as part of the $500 payment we would also ask that you review the translated script for errors (and make any needed corrections) and also provide up to 30 minutes of free re-recording time if the client makes minor changes to the script after we have recorded.
We will have the script back from the translating company by December 19th at the latest -- though we may have it back by the 16th if we're lucky.

Please contact me at jbrady@clinaero.com if you are interested in this opportunity. A brief sample of the script (in English) is included below.
Sample from MS script:
“Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease, meaning your own immune system is damaging your body.
Normally, your immune system helps protect you. It does this by sending in white blood cells and special proteins whenever a foreign substance (like a bacterium or virus) invades your body.
But with multiple sclerosis, the immune system mistakenly believes the healthy tissue in your brain and spinal cord are foreign invaders. Immune cells are sent from the blood into the central nervous system, where they produce chemicals that cause inflammation. This inflammation causes the myelin that covers the nerves of your brain and spinal cord to break down, and scar tissue begins to form in its place.
As the myelin sheath becomes damaged, the electric signals have a harder time getting through -- or become blocked entirely. As the damage progresses, this leads to problems with your muscle control, vision, speech, sensation, and even your thinking.”
