Creative thinkers rule the future. Jobs that once required only linear, logical rote abilities are now done by machines. Those jobs left for humans increasingly require creativity, synthesis, artistry, imagination, and collaboration. Yet, workplaces are full of people who have negative or uncreative attitudes. This causes breakdowns in productivity, workplace relationships, and business growth. The good news is that the brain is plastic. You CAN change your wiring, your state of mind at will—by what you choose.
Clip #2 (approx. 22 seconds):
Organizations around the world have to re-create themselves over and over again—just to stay competitive. The only way to do that is to create a workplace culture where people know how to be innovative, where they see possibilities. Carla Rieger has developed a number of powerful and deceptively simple tools that people choose a new state of being--one that will optimize their full effectiveness on the job.
Clip #3 (approx. 25 seconds):
737 CEO’s surveyed said they would hire someone with a good sense of humor over someone without, even if the person without--had more credentials. Why is that? Because someone with a sense of humor tends to be more innovative and more positive. Most of us think that you can teach job skills but not attitude. Carla believes a new attitude on life can be taught.
Clip #4 (approx. 23 seconds):
Only about 1 in 20 adults identity themselves as an artist. However, ALL kindergarten students—when asked—will call themselves an artist. We are all born as artists. The trick is to recapture that innate ability as an adult and put it into our life’s work—because people connected to their creativity know how to be proactive when change hits.
Clip #5 (approx. 10 seconds):
Carla Rieger has a unique way of keeping her audiences engaged using humor, stories and concrete tools that they easily apply to work or home life.
Clip #6 (approx. 22 seconds):
Carla has been speaking to audiences of 10 to 3000 people for over 17 years in North America and Europe. She has written 3 books on creativity and change--and has been the artistic director of two theatre troupes. She specializes in workplaces where high levels of burnout are occurring. Since burnout often happens when people use old methods of working that don’t WORK anymore.
Clip #7 (approx. 20 seconds):
Clients consistently say that Carla’s presentations are fun and engaging. As an opening or closing keynote speaker she changes the entire energy of the conference room, turning a group of strangers into a bonded community. As a staff development trainer or leadership coach, she helps people create the kind of workplace atmosphere where people thrive.
