Script 1:
A somewhat dense Husband.
HIM Hi!!! I'm home!
HER Didn't you go buy us a mattress?
HIM Yeah, but look at this. They were giving out a camera with each mattress. Cool eh?
HER O.K. But what about the mattress?
HIM Well, it was a little expensive but it shouldn't be too bad. And it should come in within a couple of months … if everything goes well.
Script 2:
A really pushy Salesman.
SALESMAN What can I get for you today little lady?
CUSTOMER (FEMALE): I'm here for your promotion: "a big TV with each big sofa." So, I'd like a big sofa—a blue one, please.
SALESMAN Gee, that's too bad. We're all out of blue.
CUSTOMER Yellow?
SALESMAN There's more to life than solid colours, you know. And anyway, the TV offer only applies to striped sofas.
CUSTOMER The big TV?
SALESMAN Well, I wouldn't exactly call it big. But it is black. That's a solid colour.
