The Casting Couch Radio Show is an online Info-tainment show for people in the biz, VO's - Writers - Theater - Production etc. Our Announcers need to have not only polish, but sometimes a knack for a comical approach. Don't submit an audition without hearing what we've done so far, so you know how to approach it.
Go to www.CastingCouchRadio.com, go to the Links page, then link over to VoiceAmerica.com, where the show airs online. Search there for the Casting Couch Radio Show & listen to the shows archived there, listen to the Show Theme & Announce at the top. At this time, there are three shows archived.
Do Two reads only on the following copy, one more light hearted but 'straight' and another a little more silly or even over the top.
Only looking for Announcer deliveries at this time, no characters please. Characters will be a separate audition call. You can be 'bigger' and funnier, but, don't go too far off your announcer voice, just more animated with it.
We will be utilizing a number of different announcers, rotating them in and out. So, this isn't a one person wins the job sort of audition.
One light hearted and fun, the second, much broader and sillier.
Note: the copy is very clost to what we do. The agent name is made up.
