Project Main Details
Looking for a Mature, non-union female voice (age - 50's - 70's) to record several short 10 5-minute narrations. (non-broadcast).
Talent must have a dignified, compassionate, documentary-style tone. Slower, with pauses for effect. We are not looking for "old lady character voices" here.
Looking for a talent that has their own studio and can record quality audio with quick turnarounds (scripts to come before 6pm ET, needed back via our FTP by 9am ET next morning) There will likely be several of these shorter narrations at once. This may become regular work if everything goes well for the narrations done for this project.
Our rate is $4 per finished minute for the narrations.
If you are ok with the rates and turnaround time, and if you meet these qualifications, please record us a custom sample of our script. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS IN YOUR RESPONSE.
Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you

"The year was 1914, and the United States was in a time of transition. Black skies thundered over Europe with the beginning of World War I. The American way was changing, from a farming society of small towns, to the industrial boom of the big cities. In Lakewood, Nevada, life for the Frank and Angeline Martin family was also in transition. On May 27th, 1914, they welcomed the first born of their four children, daughter Corrine ((pronounced - core-'IN)).
Corinne would grow up during some of the most challenging and exciting times of the twentieth century. She would live through both world wars, the Roaring 20s and the Great Depression. These were the formative years of Corrine." "The year was 1914, and the United States was in a time of transition. Black skies thundered over Europe with the beginning of World War I.
