We live in an ever changing world. New construction, renovations and expansions of business, residential and transportation infrastructure are occurring at an increasing pace. Aerial photography allows you to see what’s there. Aerial photography empowers you to analyze real estate assets and geographical features along with the resources available to any location. However, unless the aerial images are current, you and your clients will be making critical decisions based on erroneous information.

The AEView Solution
With the purchase of our photography, we provide our own proprietary viewer, AEView.
AEView allows you to display the photography in a mini GIS environment. One can zoom in on the photography, pan around, measure property by acreage or sq footage, zoom out to see rooftops, retail, and growth areas, draw radius rings of different sizes for distance comparisons or market analysis, label streets, highways, parks, landmarks, or add your own annotations, and finally export an image for your marketing pieces, brochures, or large scale murals, or print directly from AEView.
In addition to the data overlays such as streets and highways, we also provide special data overlays to enhance the photography. Elevation contours can be displayed showing the lay of the land, FEMA floodplain maps show the land areas deemed flood zones by the National Flood Insurance Program, and county tax parcel data can be overlayed showing the tax lot lines with property information such as ownership, APN number, land value, and acreage. However, the availability of these layers varies from market to market so check with your sales representative for further information.
For those who use other GIS applications such ArcGIS or MapInfo as your primary mapping solution, you’re in luck. Our ECW imagery files are compatible with the majority of GIS applications. You can keep your GIS software on your mapping workstation and install AEView on the rest of the workstations in your office because with AEView, there is an unlimited user license! Anybody can use it! Use your GIS software for your more in-depth projects and AEView for everything else.
