Exposure to secondhand smoke is especially bad for children. It increases their chances of developing bronchitis, pneumonia, and ear infections. It also worsens asthma attacks in children.
Kids don't get to choose whether they are exposed
to secondhand smoke in a smoke-filled restaurant.
They just have to suffer the effects. Let’s help protect our kids from the dangerous effects of secondhand smoke.
The City of Champaign deserves smoke-free restaurants.
Come to the City Hall Study Session at 7PM on Tuesday September 13th to clear the air and let your Champaign City Council member know that you support a smoke free ordinance.
Our first-rate city doesn't deserve second-hand smoke.
