Hello everyone, I am looking for a jingle for a daily bit on my Afternoon Drive show, The Afternoon Mess with Ben Thompson. The bit is called Laugher At 20 After and takes place at 4:20pm. What I do is pull out my joke book and deliver a daily joke...bar jokes, blonde jokes, etc. Now I have a jingle that I use for a different bit that I like alot,
The show is on a Classic Hits station where we play hits from the 70's, 80's and 90's. So if we could maybe put some funny lyrics to a popular song from then that would be good. Gender of voice is not a factor, age is not a factor, union status is not a facor as well.
PEOPLE USE YOUR CREATIVITY FOR THIS PARODY JINGLE...WANT IT TO BE FUNNY...WANT PEOPLE TO THINK WHEN THEY HEAR IT, "MAN, I'VE NEVER HEARD ANY THING LIKE THAT BEFORE, THAT IS SO COOL!" I want it to stick in people's minds, I want people to be calling up and requesting that I play it.
The audio should be sent to me by email in mp3 format. If you would like to go the extra mile and find or produce a bed for that would be fabulous. Phone patch and ISDN are not required.
Budget - Station is willing to pay $75, but if the jingle is super awesome, I may be willing to damble out of my personal funds ;)
