Project Main Details
Hello and thank you for reading my voice request. I am looking for you to record nine short audio clips that will be used as the narration for an online demo a piece of software that I have written.
Voice that I am looking for: I am looking for a male voice that is confident and capable, yet friendly, like that of an experienced airline pilot.
My budget is quite limited, so price will be a major consideration in my selection of talent. I can pay you in several ways, though the easiest may be via PayPal.
Delivery format: You can deliver the samples either as .WAV or .MP3 files. Since there are nine samples, you should deliver nine .WAV or nine .MP3 files (either in reasonably good quality).

Is there an FAA Practical Test, otherwise known as a checkride, in your future?
We all love to fly… and most of us enjoy the process of learning to fly as well. Still, if you’re like most people, the prospect of an FAA checkride, that combination of flight test
and oral exam that all pilots need to take and pass in order to obtain most certificates and ratings can be a bit intimidating.
Whether it’s your initial Private or Recreational Pilot checkride, a traditionally tough checkride such as the Instrument Rating or Flight Instructor, or any other FAA checkride, there’s always the lingering question – am I as prepared as I can be?
WAV/MP3 #2
For users of Dauntless’ RideReady checkride oral exam preparation software, the answer is a resounding “Yes.” Each RideReady title contains a data bank of hundreds of checkride oral exam questions for you to study so that you can be confident for your checkride oral. The questions, written by former FAA designated pilot examiners and current professional pilots and flight instructors, are based on the experience of thousands of checkrides. While no product could honestly claim to cover every possible question that an examiner might ask, RideReady has in practice proven itself to be highly effective. Pilots agree: RideReady works.
WAV/MP3 #3
Still, you may have seen some oral exam preparation booklets written by third parties and wonder how RideReady compares to them.
Both such booklets and our software are written by highly experienced aviation professionals. However, for a number of reasons, we think that RideReady is the superior choice.
First, there’s the issue of number of questions and depth of content. RideReady provides generally many more questions than such booklets do, allowing us to cover far more potential actual checkride oral material. Furthermore, where booklet authors are limited by the physical size of the book, our authors can provide you with more detailed answers and explanations and our software includes more figures, charts, and other materials to really help you understand.
Second, there’s the issue of specific aircraft. Those of you who have taken a checkride already know that the examiner is very likely to focus on the specifics of the systems and performance of your particular aircraft. Those oral exam booklets typically only include information about one aircraft or they only have relatively generic information about aircraft systems. Most Ride Ready titles, on the other hand, come complete with questions that are specific to a large number of common training aircraft so that YOU spend time learning about YOUR aircraft. You tell RideReady what aircraft you fly, and RideReady will tailor itself to you.
For times where RideReady’s built-in data might vary a bit from that of your specific aircraft, RideReady includes a screen where you can modify the default values. And, if you happen to be training in a relatively uncommon aircraft, RideReady allows you to add data for your “custom” aircraft as well.
Third, where books typically ask only dry, “rote” questions, RideReady’s data bank includes all types of questions that real-life of examiners are likely to ask. This means that RideReady will ask you rote questions, yes, but also analytical and scenario-type questions as well.
Fourth, RideReady’s content is always growing and updates are free. Unlike a book, which once printed is fixed forever, we make changes to RideReady as feedback comes in from our users and regulations and FAA emphasis areas change.
Consider not too long ago when the FAA instituted new regulations regarding pilot photo identification requirements. Within days of the issuance of the new regulations, our editors added relevant new questions to the RideReady question banks. All RideReady users could then instantly get this latest and greatest content with only a few clicks thanks to RideReady’s built-in self-update. That’s peace of mind.
RideReady is fast, easy-to-use, and proven. But don’t take our word for it. You are invited to download it for yourself and see. In fact, you can download it right now, free, and be on your way to checkride oral preparedness in moments.

Here’s how the process works:
First, start at the main RideReady welcome page. A link to this page is available in the upper right of this presentation, under “Links.” You’ll be able to visit this page once this presentation is complete.
Next, select the RideReady product area that best applies to you – for example, Airplane.
From the next page, scroll down until you find the download link for the product you are interested in.. for example, here’s what the link for RideReady Private and Recreational Pilot Airplane might look like.
Click on the download link.
While what happens from this point varies slightly from browser to browser and PC to PC, what you basically want to do now is download and install the software. If you’re having trouble with this, please visit our helpdesk, also available via the links at top right, for more information.
Once the software is installed, you can run it on your local computer. In most versions of RideReady, you will be prompted to choose the specific aircraft that best suits you.

As you will see, RideReady features a robust set of options to help you choose a study mode that’s best for you.

Here’s a sample question screen.
WAV/MP3 #8
You are welcome to evaluate your unregistered (this means “not yet purchased”) version of RideReady for as long as you like. However, the unregistered version only gives you access to about five percent of the total number of questions. This is not enough to adequately prepare you for your checkride.
But don’t worry – you’re only a few moments away from unlocking the other 95%. In fact, at that point you won’t need to download or install anything else.
To unlock the rest of the questions, find one of the unlock links in the software and click on it. Or, if you’re ready to buy RideReady now, you can visit the RideReady order screen on our website. Either way, you will be directed to our secure servers where you can purchase an unlock code that will transform your “demo” version of RideReady into the fully working software.
That’s it – no waiting for books or CDs or anything to arrive in the mail – in just moments from now, you could be studying with the complete software and full access to all the available questions and functionality.
WAV/MP3 #9
Whether your checkride is still many months away or if it’s tomorrow morning, RideReady can help you be more prepared, more confident, and more likely to pass. We thank you for giving it a try and wish you the best of luck in all your aviation goals! Pronunciation Guide:
FAA eff-ay-ay (say letters individually)
Dauntless dawntless
Checkride checkride (say as one word, not as two)
RideReady rideready (say as one word, not as two)
