Educational voiceovers... Negotiating an ongoing and HUGE job with a company from within the European Union that wants to expand into English language educational CD's. Really tight deadlines for lots of "files" that vary in size and complexity.
I'm an American based in the UK and sent them a few British voiceover samples along with my own.
My feeling is that I should send more "Yank" voiceovers as my sample is the only one they've really liked. They particularly want to hear more female samples but I could use a few other males too. Also having a little trouble pricing this account: I'm a production company and recording studio so I charge by the hour... They want pricing per file. I'll leave it to you folks to figure out how to bid for yourselves and then I can work it out from there. I've essentially won the account, but they want to hear more of the VO talent I intend to provide and we haven't agreed pricing yet. The work will begin in Sept. As I'm in the UK and the deadlines will be critical, you'll probably have to send the voiceovers over the internet, presumably as MP-3's that I'll convert into .Wavs or .CD whatever, and as there'll be foreign currency (for you and me), a PayPal account will be essential for prompt hassle-free payment.

Santa Claus is pulling the sledge with a force, which is acting at an angle of 60 degrees to the ground. The direction of the force vector is therefore at an angle to the direction of the movement and its magnitude is equal to one hundred [100] newtons. To calculate the force acting in the direction of motion, we need to resolve the force into components. The horizontal component is responsible for the work done. We can calculate it from the formula: F times the cosine of sixty [60] degrees [F×cosa]. On inserting it into the formula, we obtain a result of fifty [50] newtons. Santa Claus has covered a distance of ten [10] metres.
Since we know that the work done, W equals the force, F1, times the distance s, we can calculate the work that Nicholas has done. On inserting the values F1 equals fifty newtons [F = 50 N] and s equals ten metres [s = 10 m] into the formula, we obtain a result of five hundred [500] joules.....
If a magnetic needle, which has been set in motion, stops at a different location every time it is rotated, we can assume that there is no other magnet affecting it. On the Earth this situation would only exist if we were able to eliminate the magnetic influence, which the Earth exerts on the needle.
If a magnetic needle which has been set in motion always stops at the same position, this means that it is situated in a magnetic field. The source of this field might be, for example, another magnet
