Script for a online Software Training video. Will be individual scripts for different tasks such as how to add a customer, how to schedule a service.
Recording will be for one task right now. And then the other tasks within 1 month. Will of course want to use the same voice for all tasks on training video.
Need a person with a voice that sounds between 30 and 50.
Audio can be recorded by any means that can deliver an electronic file in Wave format.

Welcome to the tutorial for Creating a New Customer Account in Pe
In this training video we will cover how to add a new Service Location to your customer database.
When adding a new service location to your customer database, it's always a good idea to perform a search to ensure that they're not already in your system;
Click on the Location Search shortcut to bring up a new search screen.
You can use the name, address, or phone number fields to perform the search.
Once you've verified that the customer isn't already listed, click on the Add Customer button to begin adding them to your database.
Our first option when adding a new Service Location is to choose whether we want to create a new billing account or to add this Service Location to an existing account.
By choosing the first option, a new Billing Account will be created using the same information as the Service Location, this is generally the case when adding new residential customers.
Choosing the second option brings us to a search screen where we can look for the existing Billing Account which we'd like to add this new Service Location to.
For now, let's assume we're adding a new residential customer
We begin by adding the customer's basic address and contact information.
Company Name, if applicable, Name, Address, and Phone number.
You'll notice, after entering the Street Address we're brought to the zip code field next, skipping the city and state.
If you've chosen to enable the Geocoding or Address Validation options in the Company Setup menu, filling in the Zip Code will allow PestPac to automatically fill in the city, state, area code, four-digit zip code extension, county, and produce a longitude and latitude which can be used to generate maps and driving directions for that Service Location.
In PestPac, you have multiple phone number fields to keep track of all of your customer's contact numbers, whether it be a home, office, mobile, or fax number.
Entering a customer's email address lets you take advantage of PestPac's online features, allowing you to email Invoices, Statements, Renewal Notices, and Service Reminders directly to your customers.
The second group of options on the Add Location screen allows you to enter more detailed information about this account.
If your company has multiple Service Branches you can specify which one will be responsible for treating this location.
Choose the appropriate tax code for this account
Map codes can be used if your techs are using standardized maps
Division lets you separate your customers into various sub groups

Type prompts you to specify what type of service location this is; residential, commercial, or other.
The Source field tracks how this customer was referred to your company and can be used on multiple sales reports.
Checking the prospect box denotes that this customer has not yet chosen to purchase your services and is still in the sales process.

The Contact Date and Contact Code fields can track when your company should next contact this Service Location and why.
The Comment area allows you to display a message in red text at the top of the customer's account. This could be used if there is any important information about this Service Location that you want your users to see as soon as they access this customer's account however this comment will not print on any forms or documents.
Directions is where non-service specific information is entered that a technician would need to see every time they service this location.
At the bottom of the Add Customer screen you can select what type of printing options should be applied to this customer.
You may also choose to disable the geocoding feature mentioned earlier in the tutorial.
Finally, in the lower right hand quadrant of the Add Customer screen we have the User Defined Fields which were previously mentioned in the Company Setup Tutorial.
The contents of these fields will be unique to your company and may be used for anything from keeping track of garage or gate access codes to personal information about your clients.
Once all of the fields are filled in, return to the top of the screen and click the Add button to save this customer's information.
After saving, we are brought immediately to that customer's Service Location Detail screen.
In addition to their Service Location information on the left we can also see the customer's Billing information on the right.
If for any reason either set of information ever needed to be changed, clicking on the corresponding link will allow you to edit that information.
Click the Location number to proceed to the Edit Location screen or the Bill-To number for the Edit Bill-To screen.
This concludes our tutorial for Adding a New Customer Account. Following this video will be a short evaluation, upon successful completion of the evaluation we suggest you proceed to the Location Detail and Bill-To Tutorial.
