There's a great fringe benefit for you... in the process of making these recordings, you'll receive a great education on real estate investing!
DESCRIPTION
The training materials are provided on computer in an electronic book format which gives the user an option to hear the content read aloud.
THE VOICE
Conceptually, you'll be filling the role of mentor to real estate investors and agents/brokers as you "teach" them. So your voice must be extremely professional and confident sounding, but with a soothing & nurturing feel. It's important for the listener to perceive that the speaker really knows the material in-depth. Good, clear pronunciation and proper inflection with a smooth cadence are required.
We're considering both male and female voices with no accents that sound mature enough to have extensive experience investing in real estate (sounding in their forties).
SCOPE OF WORK
There are a total of 160 eBook pages, with an average of 230 words per page (that's about 80 regular printed pages - 8.5x11 at 12pt font).
Each page requires its own audio file, so you'll create about 160 files ranging in length from 15 seconds to 2 minutes (average length is one minute per page). The word count is 37,433.
ADDITIONAL TASKS
1. You'll annotate two five-minute slideshows that offer a "tour" of our products on our website.
2. You'll annotate three voicemail greetings for our phone system.
RECORDING
We'll provide a script for each page. Recording can be done however/wherever you prefer. Recorded files can be delivered to us on CD or over the internet. Our requirements are that you:
1. Use high-quality recording equipment (i.e. multiple sample rates, professional microphone, etc.)
2. Produce extremely clear recordings
3. Save the audio files in PC format (.wav)
We're looking for the highest reasonable sound quality, but we must manage the size of the files. We'll first test a few different sampling rates with you and then select one (22k is most likely).
DELIVERY TIME
One week.
ACCEPTANCE
We will review each recorded page to assess its quality and confirm our acceptance.
NONDISCLOSURE
Since the training materials are our intellectual property, and they're our main product, you'll need to sign a non-disclosure agreement stating that you will not share or use the information for anything other than recording the audio files.
