Young Soldier: I remember watching my favorite superheroes on TV when I was growing up. For me, being a Soldier in the Army Reserve is a lot like that. I work… I go to school… I train in the Army Reserve… I live my life! Then, when I'm needed… like a superhero… I'm there! Ready for action. The Army Reserve allows me the opportunity to be part of my community while I train as a Soldier. After basic I've continued my training near home… and I'm getting the experience and hands-on skills I apply to my job… plus, I get help for my college tuition. And all this preparation, discipline and leadership skills have made me a stronger person… mentally and physically. In and out of uniform! You know, sort of like… a superhero.
