YesN/A SCRIPT SAMPLE: Located at the head of the Broadkill River… The Town of Milton was first settled by English colonists in 1672. Because of the River, Milton was a principal shipping center from 1740 until the late 1800’s.
Nearly a dozen three-masted ships were built here in mid to late 1800’s, sailing down the Broadkill from Milton and out to the Delaware Bay.
