Script: WestJet’s flight attendants are trained in use of onboard automatic electric defibrillators in addition to administration first aid and CPR. While the flight attendants begin to administer oxygen, WestJet’s medi-link connection is established with the Phoenix medical center via a satellite communication network. The medi-link connection enables qualified medical personnel to assess, diagnosis, and treat passenger in-flight.
