"My dad said that if I’m being picked on, I should just put up with it or fight back. He said that kids just do that sort of thing. I was so glad one day when a friend of mine told a teacher about what was happening every day on the bus.
The school was real cool about it. They wound up putting the kid who was picking on me on another bus. They even ask me if things are going ok. I still don’t love school, but at least I don’t dread showing up every day
