Welcome to Everquest II, the never-ending game where you’ll forge your own legend as you journey through the breathtaking, mystical landscapes of Norrath, a fractured world in a state of turmoil.
A game like no other, Everquest II is filled with spectacular sights and sounds, never-ending adventure and a rich, complex world for you to explore…with thousands of other players.
The Isle of Refuge is your first opportunity to combat a variety of creatures and collect experience. However, while on the Isle, you will be ‘capped,’ not able to advance beyond Level 6. You can continue to collect an experience surplus and gain enough to ‘ding’ Level 8 almost as soon as you become a citizen of either Qeynos [ka-nos] or Freeport. An excellent area to do some practice hunting is the valley accessible just past the initial Gruttooth Invaders. You’ll find plenty of non-aggro deer, giant spiders and mire bogs to slay for XP.
