ActivHealth lesson development (Female Talent)
:: How is the audio going to be used?
For an online health lesson covering various health topics such as cardiovascular health and exercise. The talent will read a short summary statement for each slide to introduce the topic. Text and graphics will allow further exploration. There will be 50 lessons in total, but this will be split between 2 talents (one male and one female) for a total of 25 lessons each.
:: Gender, age and union status of the talent needed.
The client is looking for a female, with a clear rich sound. “Big voice” may apply but the read cannot sound like a radio ad. Think educational setting.
Non-union is OK.
:: Any script and budget you may have in mind.
The script will be for 25 lessons with audio approximately 2 - 5 minutes in length for each. The budget is $1200. Scripts will be delivered to the talent in blocks of 1-5 scripts. It is anticipated that the first lesson will be recorded by itself, and followed by a short wait when a block of 4 scripts will be delivered for reading. The remaining 4 blocks of lessons will be spread over a period of a month or more. (As the proceeding lessons are completed and the next scripts are finalized)
:: How should the audio be recorded?
Chosen talent will record in their studio and will cover all associated expenses.
:: Where should the audio be delivered?
To the website, audio needs to be a downloadable file as it will be sent to the client via email for review and selection. MP3 Preferred. Final audio (MPS3) will be uploaded via FTP to our server.
:: Payment Terms
Net 45 upon receipt of invoice. We will need either a Social Security number or Tax ID, but due to the extended nature of the project it will be acceptable to invoice after the completion of 5 lessons. (For a total of 5 invoices.)
