Script Details
On Tuesday, February 22, the voters of Champaign have a chance to make a difference in their own lives and in their community. One of our neighbors, Matt Varble, wants to represent us as our city councilman from district three.
As an experienced business leader and former Human Relations Commissioner, Matt Varble knows how to renew our local economy. Improving quality of life isn’t just about roads and sewers, but about people, and the neighborhoods they build.
When it comes to affordable housing, Matt Varble believes the projects we undertake today will build tomorrow’s middle class and keep Champaign a place where the American Dream still lives.
Matt Varble supports development and revitalization initiatives such as the Taylor Thomas subdivision. Matt will also work hard to make northeast Champaign a federal empowerment zone. This designation will finance new business start-ups and help build new homes people will call their own.
And Matt Varble believes government should run like a small-town business—it shouldn’t expect your money if it can’t provide the personal service you deserve and the customer is always right.
On February 22, please cast your write in vote for Matt Varble.
This ad has been paid for by citizens to elect Matt Varble.
