Project Main Details
:: How is the audio going to be used?
Local cable TV commercial.
:: Gender, age and union status of the talent needed.
Male, warm sounding voice, knowledgeable, kind, approachable, mature but not a grandfatherly. Client does not want the “BIG” Hollywood VOICE. So nothing that sounds like a radio station identity call. We want this person to be approachable, and trustworthy.
Non-union is OK. Voice must fit the above.
:: Any script and budget you may have in mind.
The script will be approximately 30 seconds in final. Please see the portion below labeled “Audio” to see the entire script. Fee structure required with posting of the audition.
:: How should the audio be recorded?
Chosen talent will record in their studio and will cover all associated expenses.
:: Where should the audio be delivered?
To the website, audio needs to be a downloadable file as it will be sent to the client via email for review and selection. MP3 required
:: What should I say in my audition: (Please include a minimum of half of the read)
The pace should be slow as few words are used for a :30 second spot. Also this should not seem like a sales pitch.

Script Details
Life can be pretty tough sometimes…
…And you can’t avoid all the potholes, rough patches, and pitfalls.
Isn’t it nice to know there’s a smooth stretch at the beginning and end of every road?
Last to see you off, first to welcome you home. That’s your Bracken Paving driveway.
Video
Dad is in a stressful situation; possibly stuck in a traffic jam, looking at his watch.
VO “Life can be pretty tough sometimes…”
Cut to 12-year-old son on bike. He’s riding on the sidewalk and has to veer out of the way to avoid an obstacle, such as a big trashcan.
VO …And you can’t avoid all the potholes, rough patches, and pitfalls. “
We see dad’s car pull into a beautiful driveway. The boy pulls in on the bike right behind him.
VO “Isn’t it nice to know there’s a smooth stretch at the beginning and end of every road?”
Dad gets out of the car; kid gets off his bike. They smile at each other. Dad pulls at son’s baseball cap and puts an arm around his son as they head into the house.
VO “Last to see you off, first to welcome you home. That’s your Bracken Paving driveway.”
