Project Main Details
Female age 35-55. She should sound real, and not like a typical radio announcer—she should talk to us, not at us. We want the fun, nice aunt that everyone looks forward to chatting with. The one you trust. The one you turn to for advice.

Project Parameters
Script Details
Radio spots to be personalized and used by 29 Community Mental Health Centers across the state of Kansas in 2005. There are five spots initially, but this is going to be a comprehensive and on-going campaign.
Cost Estimate Specifics:
Five initial spots with many more to follow throughout 2005. Estimate the cost two ways. First, assume that you will record just the 5 spots and a station announcer will tag each for the 29 different centers. Second, assume that you will record 29 versions of each of the five spots—assuming that only one or two sentences will change, so you’ll really only record each total spot once and then record 29 wild lines to be edited in.
Production Specifics:
We prefer talent with access to ISDN so we don't have studio costs on both ends as we patch you into our studio in Kansas City.
Script for Audition: "A New Mom's Story"
I want to tell you a story about a new mom. Oh she was so excited when she was waiting for her baby to arrive! Her eyes would sparkle whenever someone asked her when her baby was due, if she knew whether it was a boy or a girl, or what names she had picked out.
And when the doctor laid that little angel on her chest for the first time, she cried. She was so happy. So overwhelmed with joy. And she kept crying, and crying and crying. When her baby cried, she screamed. When her baby slept, she sobbed quietly in the corner.
Is this your story? We can help you find the happy ending. At Family Service and Guidance Center, we understand your pain. And you're not alone. Nearly 10 percent of new mothers experience serious postpartum depression.
We can help you discover the true joys of motherhood. Call 273-4804. You wouldn't ignore shortness of breath. You shouldn't ignore your feelings. Please let us help.
