2 folksy radio ads Alaska
Voice a pair of 60 second ads for a coal mine in Alaska. Looking for a friendly, folksy delivery - not an announcer! You're just havin' a conversation on the porch over a game of checkers, sippin' lemonade and swattin' flies.

Just 10 miles north of the entrance to Denali Park is the town of Healy.

It’s got beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, clean air…and... Alaska’s largest coal mine.

Now, you’re probably wondering: Can a coal mine operate in harmony, right next door to a National Park? Ask the locals – they’ll tell you that it can, and it has for decades.

Healy has been home to ****************** since 1943 – but you can hardly tell there’s a coal mine nearby.

[Sound effects: digging and planting]

That’s because every summer, ******** employees roll up their sleeves and plant thousands of trees on lands that were once mined for coal.

[Sound effects: more chirping birds]

Within a few years, the land is restored to a natural state – ideal habitat for Alaskans… [Sound effect: bird call / wildlife sound]… of every species.

We’re ******************. Leaving Alaska the way we found it.
