The FTR is an easy, reliable way for you to protect your identity -- this brief clip will show you how to correctly use your FTR.

The FTR works by “reading” the core of your finger.

The core of your finger is located in the center of the pad of your finger – it is NOT the tip of your finger.

To begin, simply slide your finger into the reader.

There is an opening for the pad of your finger in under the lid of the FTR. Simply rest your finger gently over the opening.

There is also a small bump at the far edge of the opening. You should feel this with the tip of your finger when it is placed in about the right place. This will help you to position your finger consistently in the future as well.

A live image will appear on your computer screen so you can see your fingerprint.

You must guide your fingerprint core as close to the center of the red circle as possible. Look at the live image while moving your finger carefully into position.

Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
