CASTING SPECS FOR SAM:
He’s a young, energetic, confident man of 26, getting ready to live happily ever
after with his fiancé. And he’s looking forward to it. He really wants it. Until he realizes
how much he’ll be giving up for this woman. Granted, he’s only giving up a week
without eating a Bojangles’ biscuit, but to him, it’s an eternity. And she certainly showed
her true colors by not wanting to compromise. If she acts like this before they’re married,
imagine what she’s going to be like after the “I do’s.”
SCRIPT:
SAM: So Lisa and I were trying to decide where to go on our honeymoon when it hit me,
we were looking at places that didn’t have Bojangles’. No way I’m going an entire week
without my buttermilk biscuits. So I started making suggestions. I said, I hear Ozark,
Missouri is nice. She goes huh? I’m just saying, Missouri is nice. And it has a
Bojangles’. Like Maryland, Georgia, Tennessee. All nice places with Bojangles’. That’s
when she started in with the crying and the, “you don’t love me.” So I broke off the
engagement. I know it sounds harsh, but is it any harsher than her expecting me to go a
week without my biscuit? Yeah, I didn’t think so.
