Script Details
CASTING SPECS FOR ANNIE:
She’s a 35-year-old domestic goddess who runs her household like nobody’s
business. She’s thoughtful and loves treating her family. She also knows how to handle
her husband, especially when he’s blaming her for something she hasn’t done. But she’s
pleasantly surprised by the affect this delicious chicken has on him. She decides right
then and there that the chicken will be her new secret weapon. And as all good wives
know, having a secret weapon is the key to a successful marriage.
SCRIPT:
ANNIE: The other night, I decided to treat my husband by picking up Bojangles’ new
roasted chicken for dinner. And how does he thank me? By thinking I got the juicy
chicken so I can spring some bad news on him! “What did you do? Did you crash the
car? Is your mom coming for a visit? Did you max out the card?” I said, calm down. I
got Bojangles’ new roasted chicken because I knew you’d like it. He just looked at me
for a moment then said, so you maxed out the card? Well, these things happen. Is there
any chicken left? I couldn’t believe it. I mean, who is this guy? And what’s in this
chicken? Well, whatever it is, I’m bringing it home more often.
