Female, one who can sound like she is 17 years old. Looking for a "valley-girl" type read. The voice actress must be able to truly sound 17, so a high-pitched voice is preferable.
The character, Cindy, is a "total" valley-girl. She is a stereotype "dumb blonde", or at least, that is what the listener thinks until we discover her true brilliance at the end of the spot. Only a small section of the voice over radio spot is included here for auditioning purposes.
Cindy is on the telephone with her best friend, Mandy:
Cindy: "Like hi Mandy! You would, like, TOTALLY not believe who I saw at the mall today. It was like, that hunk Cliff from the gym. He is so hot! And I was like totally wearing my sexy little pink minidress with my black heels, so he HAD to notice me!"
Cindy: "You mean, he wears glasses and he didn't buy them from Tri-State Optical? So he like, probably DIDN'T see me after all? So like that look he gave me was probably just a squint 'cause he couldn't see?"
