I have a Colombian accent when I talk to people. Many people think that I am european when listening to my accent.
My Voice Experience
I worked as a jornalist in Bogota, Colombia for Arturo Abella and then I did some Noches de Colombia for Colcultura (Colombian Institute of Culture)about different presentations at the Teatro Colon in Bogota. I did some work for Caracol, a radio station. When I came to Key West in 1993 I worked for a local channel conducting interviews with the different merchants in the local community of Key West. I did 10 mini programs to be transmited in the hispanic community in Peru.
My Training
I graduated from the University of la Sabana, Bogota, Colombia in 1985 and then I came to the States in 1989. I did my college at the Miami-Dade Community College and had my Bachellor's degree in Communication. I had some interpretation courses done at the FIU in Miami, Florida.
My Studio Equipment
I do not have any equipment at home but I can work with Claudia Gonzalez who refered me to voice 123.
Additional Skills
I work as an interpeter Spanish-English and viceversa with the doctors in Key West and worker's comp companies.
