My Voice Experience
I started working top 40 Radio in Detroit and although I could "jive"I found that my natural fit was more suitable with Jazz and even Smooth Jazz type music. I then joined the theater where they loved that my voice boomed so that the people in the cheap seats heard me without my having to hollar or need a mike in tight spots. I then started singing Rhythem & Blues in tight harmonies until I began supper club stuff. I have sung almost every genre of music. I have since 2001 been involved in church related Radio stuff. Intro's and Outro's, Public Service Announcements and the like. I have one of the smoothest rich baritone voices in America. I can sing any Lou Rawls,Issac Hayes, Barry White, Billy Ekstine or Arthur Prysock stuff effortlessly.
My Training
I attended Howard University until I went out on my first tour. Majoring in the Performing Arts and Broadcasting. I have announced sports broadcasts (Baseball, Basketball and Football)I have done a tremendous amount of sales presentation work where you have to be able to use your voice as an inextricable tool in convincing through presentation. I ran the voicework campaign for the Re-Elect Virg Bernero for Lansing Mayor Campaign. We won 63% of the vote.
You can get all of the training videos, coaches, weight equipment that you want. You can not teach a man soar and master the air like a Michael Jordan. I have a God given talent. It doesn't get better than that
