Voice Description

I've been told for many years by many people that I have a voice that should be on the radio. It's a fairly deep male voice that I've been told has a lot of "timber" in it. I believe it would go well with narrations, commercials, voice-overs, or professional presentations. I feel I can adjust my delivery to be light & fun or serious & professional as needed.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Although I'm a native upstate New Yorker, I've been told I have a "negative accent or dialect". The only impersonation that I feel I do fairly well would be Marvin the Martian from the old Warner Brothers cartoons.

My Voice Experience

I am a blank slate. I have no experience. I have had no prior jobs even remotely associated with this type of work. I've had over 30 years in retail management and am now a semi-retired limo driver. Today is January 25th, 2011, and this resume is my first babystep. If your looking for someone that doesn't come with a lot of baggage in the industry, I'm your guy.

My Training

I have no training or degrees in doing voice overs. I have not any education in the performing arts, communications, or media production, however as I'm filling out this questionaire, I obviously am willing to learn.

Additional Skills

I have no experience in voice over services. My career has been in retail store management for companies such as Sears, OfficeMax, & CVS. I am currently semi-retired and driving limo's. I've had a great deal of experience in dealing with the public & employees, have been told by many people that I have "the gift of gab", & a very good, and pretty quick, sense of humor.
