My Voice Experience

I have nearly 20 years experience in media with a large portion of that being on-air including; local and national news (hosting, reporting, anchoring, writing, creative concepting), television and radio promotions, web videos and emceeing for a variety of events.

My strengths are in on-air presentation for television, radio and web. I currently provide voice and on-air services for a variety of entities including a national telephone directory--Directory Plus, local television program--Inside Durango TV and cooking show that was currently launched in Durango, Colorado for same TV program just mentioned and national web distribution through durangocooks (website)

I have several clients that I work with to produce, create and host corporate videos and other services. Those companies include The Magellan Network, Magnus Effect (Marketing and Communication Company), Brainstorm Internet (I also voice all of their phone messaging and radio spots), Mann Communications and various other clients.

My Training

As mentioned above, I have been in the media industry for nearly twenty years, with a great deal of my experience being on-air as a reporter, host, anchor. I still do a great deal of promotional work including radio and TV spots and web cast videos.

My Studio Equipment

I work with several professional studios in the area to create voice overs that are easily sent via email or other requested formats. I also have a dedicated home studio with an AKG Precision 420 mic, a Presonus mixer and Cubase recording software.

Additional Skills

Along with my experience and talent in voice over and on-air capabilities, I also am a talented writer with experience in creating and developing scripts for any number of needs including radio, TV, the web and more. The combination of my writing and project management skills as well as knowledge of the industry and marketing make it possible for me to help any number of entities trying to get their message out there especially during these never-ending technological times where social marketing is more important than ever. I also take a lot of pride in being able to connect well with people whether it's through my voice, my presence or my written word which is invaluable in this industry. I own a marketing/communication agency and have an undergraduate degree in communication and a graduate degree in nonprofit management and leadership. I continue to take classes to deepen my knowledge in media and marketing as well as leadership courses including Dale Carnegie and Myers Briggs.
