I have voice many documentaries and reported for NPR. Most people say I have a very smooth and soothiing voice.
Ican come across as very natural and conversational for PSA's or audiobooks.
I also do impressions and did stand up comedy for a while. I have a broadcasting background in radio and TV. I currently teach broadcasting and other media courses at the University of Texas at El Paso

My Voice Experience

Most of my work has been doing voice overs for documentaries or training films. I used my impressions mostly when I am doing a stand up comedy act.
In addition to my teaching broadcasting at the university level, I am also the News Director the NPR station in EL Paso. Part of my job includes hosting three talk shows on various topics from interviewing the author of a recently released book to discussing the current world situation.
I have been told by many that I have a wonderful soothing voice that puts them at ease and that I am perhaps one of the best interviewers they have ever heard.
I( don't use notes for my interviews and just try and carry on a conversation.

My Training

I have a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from New Mexico State University.
I have a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Before entering academia I worked in television news as a reporter and an anchor.

My Studio Equipment

Since I work in the Communication Dept at UTEP. I have easy access to the radio studios. I have an engineer and producer who will record the work for me.
