Voice Description

I feel most comfortable with a “matter of fact” approach for commercials and documentary voiceovers. Depending on the copy, I take the approach of a character actor. I determine the internal logic and let that guide my style. Growing up in the melting pot of New York City exposed me to many foreign accents. I can do Italian, French, British, German and Russian accents. My natural speaking pattern is slightly in the New Yorker spectrum of regional dialects but my training in elocution allows me to easily speak in a non-regional form. The timber of my voice is lower midrange. Send me a script and I will record it for you on spec... can't ask for a better deal then that!!!

My Voice Experience

I have 25 years experience as a broadcaster and voice over artiest. In the early part of my career I worked as a top 40 DJ and AM Drive host in the Northeast and later hosted a talk show. I was co-owner of WKDR Radio in Burlington VT till 2000. I also consult radio and television stations. I am currently the voice talent and producer of Go2-TV a quirky film compilation program which is being offered for syndication. I was national spokesperson for the Vermont Teddy Bear Company and the Chicago Bicycle Company.

I attended Announcer Training Studios and received elocution training from DR. Moya Philips in New York City.

I have written and produced many radio and television commercials. I have also produced and was the talent for an infomercial for the Chicago Bicycle Company. I currently work with 2 Much Media and am the voice talent as well as writer producer for Go2-TV, currently being offered for national syndication.
