My Training

My training and education began with being the only daughter to a family with three brothers bred by Dublin Irish parents in So. California. Eleven years taught in private Catholic schools. Pasadena City College for journalism, art & business while supporting a professional touring heavy metal bassist husband. Switched gears in the late 80's to academic life at UC Irvine with Comparative Literature studies in Irish and British literature and history. Worked for 8 years for two different unified school districts: Irvine and Newport/Mesa in OC. Worked nights for over three years for Tower Records. Radio Host at KUCI 88.9fm for Record Store Memories music timeline public affair show for 11 months and six months with the Emeraldwaves Radio Program of all styles of music from Ireland and Irish music from around the world.
