My Voice Experience
Did a pilot for a Kids Animated TV Show called "Hip Hop Fables" for the local PBS station in Elkhart, Indiana (WNIT), for the man who created Power Rangers among other shows. I played Mrs Al E Gator, the wife of Al E Gator(Alligator). I was his evil wife, with a southern syrupy sweet accent.
My Training
I have been involved with Drama and doing plays all through school. Have done debates, improv and speech competitions. Have been on my church's drama team for over 10 years. I belong to Granger Community Church with a congregation of about 7000, and about 5000 in attendance every weekend. Have done main stage dramas for many years, which means you are on all weekend and perform between 4 and 5 performances that weekend. There are usually about 600 in the audience for each service. You can go to gccwired website, and click on Media Player, then dramas and go to either "Poison Therapy" where I play the psychologist or "Family Portrait" where I play the mother and see an example of my work. You can also contact Butch Whitmire, who heads up the Arts Department at church, for references. He also plays my husband in "Family Portrait". I have also done some local commercials, including two that showed on our local NBC station, for a few months.
My Studio Equipment
I have nothing set up yet, as I am just getting started, so I will need to record in a local studio. I do have a friend who is in charge of commercials and voice over work for the local FOX station in our area.
